Built between 1825 and 1830, the historic Pruyn House, located at 207 Old Niskayuna Road in Latham, serves as an educational, historical and cultural center for the Town of Colonie. The mission of The Friends of Pruyn House, an independent, non-for-profit community organization, is to partner with the Town to restore, conserve and preserve the Pruyn House Complex. Annually, the site hosts a wide variety of educational, public, private, civic and corporate events throughout the year.
The Pruyn House Historic and Cultural Center has a wide circle of "Friends" who work to preserve and revitalize this beautiful property. Currently, our membership is well over 500 people. We invite you to join the Friends of Pruyn House.
