Join community members in Raquette Lake and Long Lake for the Annual Community Pride Clean-Up day. Meet at either the Geiger Arena or the Raquette Lake Tap Room. Sponsored by the Central Adirondack Association. Sign up with the Town of Long Lake at 518-624-3077. Volunteers will receive a free shirt and lunch for their time.
Virtual Trivia

Trivia returns on Wednesday, June 17th at 6pm. This fun game night is via the web-based Zoom platform. Three rounds of ten questions each, all from the comfort of your own home. Players are asked to email longlakeevents@gmail.com by 5pm on Wednesday, June 17th for the access code to the event. This event is for fun, everyone is welcome to play, and it is free. Sponsored the Town of Long Lake Parks and Recreation Department.

There will be Covid-19 Testing at the parking lot of the Raquette Lake Free Union School in Raquette Lake, NY on Thursday, June 18th sponsored by the Hamilton County Office of Public Health/Nursing. Pre-registration is required, please call 518-648-6497.

Long Lake Farmer’s Market Opening Day
June 25th
10a.m.-2p.m. The Long Lake Farmers Market is every Thursday located at the Mt. Sabattis Lower Parking Lot on South Hill Road across from the Post Office. Look for fresh veggies, pies, ice cream, Otter Creek Wines, rustic furniture, jewelry and more. All Covid-19 Safety practices in place.
Light Up The Lakes Contest
Celebrate 4th of July in Long Lake & Raquette Lake
Deadline to register July 2, at noon
Decorate your house, camp or cottage with lights and ornaments to Celebrate July 4th. It’s the first ever, two-community House/Camp Decorating Contest straddling both Long Lake and Raquette Lake. This is a chance for locals and seasonal residents to celebrate a holiday together during the warm weather season. Decorate the side of your house most visible from the road, and show off your best, most creative look. The bigger, the brighter, the most lights, the most visible and the most creative will be in the running for the top prize. This is a historical, once in a lifetime event to celebrate July 4th. All lights and decorations need to be on, and signs ups complete to be eligible for prizes. Judging will be on Thursday, July 2nd at darkness. All displays should be up and on through the 4th of July.
