Schenectady, N.Y. -- The Schenectady County Historical Socity has announced Registration for this year's Candlelight Tours is now open. Consider it your own personal meet-and-greet with the Stockade's witches, spirits, and ghouls; we know our undead neighbors will be happy to see you.
Thursday and Friday evenings in October, join us for spooky tales of Schenectady's haunting past! We'll explore the historic Stockade after dark, and discover the neighborhood’s most blood-curdling ghost stories. Tickets are $13 and you can choose either the "Colonial Hauntings" or "Ghostly Victorian" tour. The two tours feature different stories, and venture through different part of the neighborhood.
Candlelight Tours are co-sponsored by the Schenectady Heritage Foundation. Pre-registration required at schenectadyhistorical.org/programs. Space is very limited! Tour meets at 32 Washington Avenue, Schenectady, with refreshments and live music to follow.
October 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, and 29 at 6:30pm (Colonial Hauntings) and 7:30pm (Ghostly Victorian)
