Waterloo, N.Y.: The Waterloo Library & Historical Society will be hosting Christin Lavin on September 29 at 7pm for a concert and September 30th at 11am for a writing workshop. Both the concert and the workshop are free and open to the public.
Christine is a Singer/Songwriter originally from Geneva, NY. She was inducted into the Rochester Music Hall of Fame in 2019 and has traveled the world telling stories. This concert is interactive! As Christine says, "Come for the napkin folding, stay for the concert" She will teach napkin folding during intermission and at her workshop the next day. Plan to come early, hang out with Christine and claim your seat.
On Saturday she will be teaching a writing workshop, to tell your story and turn it into song. You won't want to miss these unique opportunities.
This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State legislature and administered by Auburn Public Theater.
