Saratoga Springs, N.Y. — As part of its popular ongoing farm tour series, the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame will present a special event at Old Friends at Cabin Creek: The Bobby Frankel Division, on Friday, May 11. The experience begins at 11 a.m. at Old Friends, the only thoroughbred retirement farm in Saratoga County.
This unique tour includes a comprehensive look at life on the farm and visits with its celebrity residents, including Travers Stakes winner Will’s Way, two-time Whitney Handicap winner Commentator and millionaire Be Bullish, as well as other favorites such as Zippy Chippy, Mr Cowboy, King Congie, This Hard Land, Watchem Smokey, Red Down South, Cool N Collective, Driven By Success, Roaring Lion and Strummer.
Along with the tour of the grounds and facilities and meeting the resident thoroughbreds, there will be a catered lunch at the farm. The cost is $25 for Museum members and $30 for non-members. Pricing includes a donation to the farm for its generosity in providing the experience. Following lunch, participants can choose to visit the Museum for a guided tour for $5 per person or receive a free pass to visit at their convenience.
