Lake George Winter’s Dream by Moment Factory Officially Opens on Friday, Dec. 8, at the Fort William Henry Historic Fortress
Lake George, N.Y. — Winter’s magic and wonder is on full display in Lake George this year as the much-anticipated Lake George Winter’s Dream officially opens to the public on Friday, Dec. 8, inviting visitors to experience winter like never before in tranquil Lake George, nestled amid New York’s Adirondack Mountains.
Lake George Winter’s Dream is a brand-new immersive and interactive multimedia experience created and produced by the award-winning multidisciplinary studio Moment Factory. This new attraction will unfold within the bastions and in the courtyard of the Fort William Henry historic fortress. Visitors are invited on an immersive journey, exploring a series of installations along a free-flow pathway where lights, sounds, original music and video content bring the sensations of the season to life in a new way. They can play and participate in the experience through a mix of cutting-edge interactive technology and old-fashioned fun. Inspired by the warmth and shared joys of the season, this rich wintry world engages the senses, offering the perfect setting for a unique outing with family and friends.
Lake George Winter’s Dream is meant for the entire family. Children and adults will experience a unique and playful night out rediscovering the magic of winter. Special care was taken to make sure the attraction is accessible.

Lake George Winter’s Dream is one of two new, separate, attractions in Lake George created to be sustainable this season even as weather conditions change. Winter Realms, created by Ice Castles, opened to the public on Friday, November 24, 2023, at Festival Commons, which is located next door to Fort William Henry. Both attractions expect to remain open through March 2024.
“We are thrilled to bring people together to experience the enchantment and fun of a Lake George winter. The excitement is palpable as ticket sales continue throughout the Northeast and even spanning continents. There was a ticket sale all the way from Africa! We can’t wait for people to experience the magic of winter in a whole new way in Lake George,” said Warren County Coalition Chairman Vincent Crocitto II.
Lake George Winter’s Dream and Winter Realms received financial support from Warren County as part of the public-private effort to foster year-round tourism and local employment. Both events are supported by Warren County Tourism / Lake George Area and the Warren County Coalition.
