Hand pies Berry - Gooseberry - AppleMumford, N.Y. (May 8, 2020) – GCV&M is excited to share that we have raised nearly one-fourth of our $100,000 goal as part of our Keep History Alive! matching give campaign. The fund appeal, launched by a group of our Board and Founding Circle members who have pledged to match each dollar the Museum raises up to $50,000, runs through June 15. All unrestricted donations and memberships during that time will be doubled to benefit the programs, staff, and collections of the Museum, in a community-based effort to offset the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic. Donations will be accepted through the Museum’s website, gcv.org.

This week GCV&M will feature a Curbside Pick-up meal of true comfort food: a slow-roasted turkey breast with traditional gravy served over creamy mashed potatoes with biscuits, served with a side of tender honey-roasted brussels sprouts. Plus to satisfy your sweet tooth, the D.B. Munger Confectionery is back with homemade Hand Pies from the Whistlestop Bakery!  Each package contains four of the Museum’s famous hand pies, with options of peach, rhubarb, or pumpkin flavors. Online orders will be orders taken through Wednesday, May 13 at 4 pm. There is a 10% discount available for GCV&M members, who can contact the Museum for discount code information. All proceeds from online sales are going directly to supporting the staff and programs of GCV&M.
