Cayuga County (June 2025) — Now in its twelfth year, the Finger Lakes Sweet Treat Trail returns for the 2025 season with 22 delicious stops celebrating the best in locally made confections, seasonal produce, and farm-fresh flavors. Running from May through November, the trail offers a self-guided culinary journey through Cayuga County, inviting visitors to taste their way across the region, from dairies and orchards to bakeries, cafes, and farm shops.

This year’s trail centers around the theme of sustainable agriculture, encouraging trail-goers to connect not only with local flavor but with the farms and producers behind each treat. Many of the stops offer insight into Cayuga County’s agricultural roots, giving guests the opportunity to visit working farms, meet local makers, and experience the land firsthand.

Visit our farms and see where the products and ingredients come from for our other partners along the trail,” encourages the Cayuga County Office of Tourism. “See the land, take pictures of the animals, and get to know where your food comes from.”

Trail maps and brochures are available at the NYS Equal Rights Heritage Center in Auburn and at participating businesses.
