At The Chocolate Expo, attendees get to taste, purchase, celebrate and otherwise indulge in delicious gourmet chocolates, baked goods, specialty foods, gelato, cheeses, wines, spirits and much more from about 100 local, regional and international vendors, while touring one of the largest air and space museums in the world.

While many vendors now offer healthy dark chocolate choices, Raw Chocolate Love and Villakuyaya are two vendors whose exclusive focus is on providing healthy organic-certified dark chocolates with nutritional benefits for consumers.  Dragon's Nest Bake Baked Goods and Healthy Gourmet Kitchen similarly focus on gluten-free baked goods to meet special dietary needs and preferences.

For kosher consumers, The Chocolate Expo will have its largest-ever number of kosher vendors including Art Chocolatier, CocoArt, Dove Chocolate Discoveries, Glow Chocolatier, Magnolia House Honey, No Whey Chocolate, Raw Chocolate Love, Screme Gelato, TerraNut, The Challah Fairy, The Cheese Guy, The Coffee Bar, Villakuyaya and others.

Unusual items at The Chocolate Expo will include Bacon Bites' chocolate-covered bacon and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer bacon lollipops, chocolate "pizza" from CB Stuffers, chocolate wine from Pazdar Winery, chocolate beer from the Off-Track Brewing Company, vegan chocolate egg creams from Drink More Good and realistic-looking brownies and chocolate sundae candles from Danielle's Candles that are infused with chocolate scents.

For ready-to-eat treats, Aurora Gourmet will have decadent chocolate fountains flowing, while Long Island's own Crazy Crepe Cafe will be making yummy chocolate crepes and Pika's Farm Table will be serving authentic Belgian-style waffles dipped in a choice of white, dark or milk chocolate.  An Artistic Taste will be featuring its hugely popular chocolate-infused Brussels sprouts and Jessy's Pastries will offer chocolate empanadas.

Always a major highlight of The Chocolate Expo, wine tastings and sales will be offered by Adirondack Winery, Americana Vineyards, Maiden & Liberty and Warwick Valley Winery, while Yankee Folly Cidery will feature hard ciders.  Spirits from Lake George Distillery and from Black Dirt Distillery will round out the line-up of alcoholic beverages at this year's Chocolate Expo.

With all the wonderful and unique gourmet items featured at The Chocolate Expo, visitors will find perfect gifts for everyone on their holiday shopping list!

In celebration of the 45th anniversary of Willie Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, actor Paris Themmem, who played "Golden Ticket" winner Mike Teavee in the original movie starring Gene Wilder, will be making a special appearance at The Chocolate Expo to greet guests, share memories and sign autographs throughout the day.

The Chocolate Expo will pay homage to another popular candy-themed movie of that same era with a display of the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car handcrafted on Long Island by Tony Garofalo and driven in earlier this year by actor Dick Van Dyke, star of the 1968 movie.

The Amazing Kreskin, who was the inspiration for the main character in the 2008 movie "The Great Buck Howard" by actor/director Tom Hanks, will be performing his incredible mentalist show in the Cradle of Aviation's Giant Dome Theater at noon.

Chocolate and food-related demonstrations will also be conducted in the Museum's theater by celebrity chefs Tony Albanese (Cake Boss Season 1), Barret Beyer (Hell's Kitchen Season 11) and Larry Rosenberg (author & TV personality).

Musical performances by the a cappella group "Wide Variety" and steampunk group "The Eternal Frontier" will take place throughout the day.
