The Museum will be open to the public free of charge and will feature live music by tenor saxophonist Leo Johnson throughout the day. For more information about the Museum, visit http://www.katonahmuseum.org/. Visitors to the Museum on December 4th will enjoy New York, New York! The 20th Century in the main galleries. The exhibition captures the essence of New York City through over 50 works from the collection of the Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, FL. Storied City: New York in Picture Book Art, a collection of original illustrations from over 35 picture books, is also on view in the Project Gallery and Learning Center. Tenor saxophonist Leo Johnson has performed throughout the world and recorded with various groups and soloists including the Jack McDuff Quintet and the Rhoda Scotts Trio. He recently released his latest CD, "Message to Mankind." Besides maintaining an active performance schedule Johnson frequently teaches music and lectures at Rutgers University, Essex County College and Newark School of the Arts. Visitors on December 4th may also enjoy farm-to-truck soups, stews, salads, savories and beverages for sale from the food truck owned and operated by Ladle of Love in Mt Kisco.
