Wayne County, N.Y. - The Lake Ontario Wine Trail will host their annual "Roll out the Barrels" wine tasting event on Saturday and Sunday April 2nd and 3rd where guests can sample young wines, spirits and ciders at each of the participating locations along the Trail.
"Roll out the Barrels is the first event of 2016 for the Lake Ontario Wine Trail, and it's an event we look forward to each year," said Collin McConville, Trail President and Head Distiller at Apple Country Spirits. "This event not only provides guests with access to our production areas, but also allows them to sample young vintages that are still in production, many of which won't be released until later this year or even next year" stated McConville. "We're also pleased to announce that our newest member, Sterling Cidery, will also be participating in this event. They produce great hand-crafted ciders made from local products; we're very lucky to have them on our Trail" he stated.
This event runs from 11:00am to 6:00pm Saturday and Sunday. Tickets for this event are $15 per person. A full list of participating locations can be found online at www.lakeontariowinetrail.com or at the starting winery.
