New York, N.Y. – Three powerhouse singer-songwriters, Catterina, Cat Ridgeway and Lauren Calve embark on a four-city tour, the ‘Winter Sun Tour’ across the east coast this January. The tour begins January 23 with stops including Pittsburgh, PA; Kennett Square, PA; New York, NY; before concluding at the Pie Shop in Washington, D.C., on January 27. Their New York City appearance at Lincoln Center will be presented with free admission.

Catterina, an indie folk singer-songwriter who makes music about love, life, and all the emotions that weave in and out of a sensitive heart. Her angelic, full-bodied vocals convey a mesmerizing intensity to her poetic lyrics. She began performing her limited discography around Houston in venues such as The House of Blues and White Oak Music Hall before headlining at the historical Heights Theater. Catterina has performed on a variety of notable stages, including the Annapolis Songwriters Festival, White Oak Music Hall, City Winery Nashville, Rockwood Music Hall NYC, Eddie's Attic, House of Blues Houston, and DC9, opening for and sharing stages with Blondie, LeAnn Rimes, Tamino, Sandra Bernhard, Madison Cunningham, Julia Cole, Lucinda Williams, and others. Her music fuses a variety of genres such as folk, R&B, and pop, and gravitates towards fans of artists such as Joni Mitchell, Lizzy Mcalpine, and Amy Winehouse. Originally from Brooklyn, Catterina now lives in Houston, allowing her to embrace influences from both states’ rich histories and cultures. She released her debut EP Four Twenty One, an exploration of healing after a lost love, in January 2022. Fans can listen to the EP HERE.

Cat Ridgeway is a powerhouse performer known for her soulful vocals, high energy, and magnetic stage presence. Her 2020 release, “Nice to Meet You,” marked her debut as a fully independent artist to commercial radio. Cat has played many notable stages (30A Songwriters Festival, Okeechobee Music and Arts Fest, and House of Blues Orlando), sharing bills with acts such as Arcade Fire, Leon Bridges, Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell, the Indigo Girls, and Rock & Roll Hall-of-Famer Marty Balin (Jefferson Airplane/Starship). She most recently opened for Mac McAnally of Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band (who’s written hits for Kenny Chesney, Alabama, and many others). Lauren Calve has been undergoing a metamorphosis in her life, a massive shift. You can hear it seeping through every song, oozing out of every lyric, and feel the shedding of her skin with every note on her first full-length album Shift. Lauren has toured with the likes of Ray Wylie Hubbard, Rhett Miller, Tom Paxton, Justin Townes Earle, and Amythyst Kiah. As a singer, songwriter, avid reader, and voracious observer in the human condition with a propensity for storytelling, this shift has brought Calve closer to herself and to her audiences in the process. “I want to continue to share my stories, play great shows, and meet more talented, inspiring people,” says Calve. “Every year seems to exceed my expectations; I don’t see why this year would be different.”
