Ticonderoga, NY - February 6, 2017 - The Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership (TMSP) Promotions Committee in coordination with the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce and Silver Bay YMCA Teen Center, as well as local businesses and organization are pleased to announce they will host the Third Annual Ticonderoga End of Winter Carnival on Saturday, March 4th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Ticonderoga Armory and Ticonderoga Recreational Areas. The carnival will offer a variety of games, indoor and outdoor activities, carnival food, and fun for all ages.
[[endteaser]]Highlight of activities will include carnival games, bouncy house, juggling/comedy show, clown, face-painting, full face art, balloon animals, ice skating, snowshoe races (bring your own snowshoes), broom ball, music, crafts, photo booth, snowmobile rides, snow painting, mini-golf, giveaways, and much more. All of the activities except ice skating, snowshoes races, broom ball, and snowmobile rides will take place at the Ticonderoga Armory. Ice skating and broom ball will take place at the skating rink, Snowshoes races will take place on the LaChute Trail closest to the Municipal Parking Lot next to the Elks, and Snowmobile rides will take place near the Ticonderoga Little League Park.
Some activities are weather dependent. Connect with the volunteers and staff at the Ticonderoga Armory that day. The Juggling/Comedy Show sponsored by the Ticonderoga Festival Guild will take place at 12:30 PM at the Ticonderoga Armory.
Food will also be available for purchase at the event including hotdogs, bottled water, popcorn, and other items provided by the Ticonderoga Elks Club. Cotton Candy will also be available compliments of Glens Falls National Bank. All food for this event will be available at the Ticonderoga Armory.
The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) has coordinated a variety of business promotions and specials that will be available March 3rd, 4th, & 5th, 2017. The Ticonderoga End of Winter Carnival 2017 Promotions & Specials flyer is available at www.ticonderogany.com, at the Chamber Office, or from participating businesses. You must have the flyer or mentioned End of Winter Carnival to receive the promotions.

The Ticonderoga High School is also participating in the event by providing student volunteers.
