Bethpage State Park is known for its five world-class golf courses, including the Black Course, site of the 2009 U.S. Open Championship. The Black Course at Bethpage State Park is one of only two public fairways where the U.S. Open’s best have battled. The U.S. Open golf Championship was also held here in 2002. Reservations are a must for this highly anticipated event, which is sure to bring in visitors from all over the country.
