wc-clark.jpg   Oswego, N.Y. - Veteran bluesman WC CLARK and his Blues Revue will headline Saturday on the East Park Jazz & Blues Stage at Oswego Harborfest.  The WC Clark Blues Revue will perform sets prior to and immediately after the Entergy Nuclear Fireworks Spectacular Saturday, July 24.  Joining the WC Clark Blues Revue on stage Saturday at East Park will be Hard Logic, Salsamba Latin Jazz Group and the Yonrico Scott Band. WC Clark Blues Revue - Known as the "Godfather of Austin Blues" WC Clark has been playing the blues right and cleansing souls from the east side of Austin to stages around the world for over 40 years.  Blues stars from Stevie Ray and Jimmie Vaughan to Angela Sterile to Marcia Ball have all perfected their craft under Clark's tutelage.  Clark won the 2003 W.C. Handy Aard for "Blues Song of the Year" for his composition "Let It Rain" and was nominated for the 200 W.C. Handy Award for "Male Soul Artist of the Year".  Clark has toured relentlessly for years including performances at the Chicago Blues Festival, Ottawa & Toronto Blues Festivals, and various festivals in Europe, Russia and Turkey.  The WC Clark Blues Revue will play at 8 PM and 10 PM. YONRICO SCOTT BAND - Since 1995, Yonrico has been touring the world as a member of the Derek Trucks Band (dTb). Their self-titled debut CD was released on Landslide Records in October 1997. Since then, the band has released six additional recordings: Out of the Madness, Joyful Noise, Soul Serenade, Live at the Georgia Theatre, Songlines, and most recently, Already Free (2009). They've opened for and performed with artists such as: BB King, Eric Clapton, Santana, Buddy Guy, Joe Satriani, John Popper, Clarence Gatemouth Brown, Gregg Allman and Friends, and Otis Rush. Yonrico also collaborates & tours internationally with Grammy Award Winner, Earl Klugh.  Yonrico Scott Band is scheduled to take the stage at 6 PM. SALSAMBA LATIN JAZZ GROUP is a Latin jazz quintet with a recipe for musical excitement that blends the traditions of American jazz with the spicy rhythms of Cuba, Brazil, and the Caribbean. The result is tasty music that delights the listener with its originality. Much of their music is written and arranged by their guitarist and leader, Eric Susoeff.  Salsamba Latin Jazz Group will exciting show to the East Park Jazz & Blues Stage beginning at 4 PM. High Energy Jazz, Funk and Jam is the best way to describe HARD LOGIC, the precision instrumental ensemble featuring sax man, composer Paul DeLoria. Influenced by groups like The Rippingtons, Spyro Gyra, and The Brecker Brothers, the group features a cast of western New York's finest musicians including Tony Castronova on electric and acoustic guitars, David Pinto on Bass, Greg Gilmore on keyboards, Bob Accurso on vibes and percussion, Laris Ashford on drums and Paul on saxes and electronic wind instruments. The group plays material drawn from an arsenal of original instrumental music spanning jazz, latin, funk, Celtic, rock fusion and beyond.  Hard Logic opens the music on the Jazz & Blues Stage Saturday, July 24 at 2 PM.
