As the first boutique wellness hub in Beacon, My Zen Den aims to elevate the well-being of the greater Hudson Valley community
Beacon, NY (January 6, 2020) -- Wellness sanctuary, My Zen Den, has opened its first location in Beacon, NY. Founded by Celebrity Makeup Artist & Wellness Expert, Alexandria Gilleo, My Zen Den brings boutique wellness services, typically associated with cities like Los Angeles and New York City, to Beacon - a first for the area. Centrally located at 1 East Main Street, My Zen Den is positioned to become part of the daily routine of those looking to enhance their well-being.
“I am fortunate to have a dedicated space in my own home to practice my wellness routine,” said Founder, Alexandria Gilleo. “In the COVID-era, our homes have become offices, gyms, daycares and restaurants - yet many haven’t considered creating an area where they can de-stress and re-center themselves. I opened My Zen Den as that destination where the greater Hudson Valley community can relax, recharge and rejuvenate.”
My Zen Den’s amenities include an infrared sauna, full-body red light therapy and a meditation nook. Additionally, visitors can shop a curated selection of wellness products, including Four Sigmatic’s best selling adaptogen powders and a selection of Anima Mundi Herbals’ signature elixirs.
Besides offering an array of rejuvenating services, the space itself is meant to invoke a sense of calm from the moment you walk through the door for an immersive, tranquil experience.
"My Zen Den’s interior was inspired by my personal healing experience in Tulum, but with a local twist,” said Gilleo. “To embrace the idea of welcoming nature indoors, we brought in soft whites, raw, reclaimed woods sourced throughout the Hudson Valley, and earthy, organic textures.”
To keep the space COVID-compliant, My Zen Den will accommodate up to two socially-distanced visitors at a time and private bookings will also be available. All clients will require an appointment, which can be booked on My Zen Den’s website. All equipment is completely disinfected between customers, as well as upon opening and closing each day. For additional sanitization, the space features an AirDoctor Air Purifier and UVC disinfection light.
With packages that range in price from a single 20-minute red light therapy session for $28 to a 10-pack of mix-and-match services for $245, My Zen Den aims to be an affordable luxury for those who live in and visit the Hudson Valley.
