Buffalo.ForRealTV episode highlights Segway and Open-Air Autobus tours Buffalo, N.Y. - March 7, 2013 - Spring is less than two weeks away, which means that tour season is coming up around Buffalo. Visit Buffalo Niagara highlights a pair of unique ways of exploring the city - one new-fangled, the other old-"school" - in the latest episode in its Buffalo.ForRealTV webisode series. Buffalo.ForRealTV host Nelson Starr tests out a high-tech Segway Tour from the Buffalo Touring Company to venture through Frederick Law Olmsted's Delaware Park and then hops aboard the Open-Air Autobus - a convertible-top former school bus with leopard-print seats - to cruise around architecture by Frank Lloyd Wright, Louis Sullivan, H.H. Richardson and more. The video, titled "Buffalo.ForRealTV: Buffalo on Wheels," clocks in at 2 minutes and 57 seconds and it can be found on YouTube at www.youtube.com/buffalocvb. The first ten "Buffalo.ForRealTV" webisodes covered Buffalo's beer scene, the Canalside district, Allentown First Fridays, Buffalo Bills tailgating, Vidler's 5 & 10, the Sportsmen's Tavern, Dyngus Day, Sun International Foods/Vera Pizzeria, the National Garden Festival and Buffalo's presidential connections. The "Buffalo.ForRealTV" series is funded by the Phyllis W. Pierce Charitable Trust, the Buffalo Renaissance Foundation and the Simple Gifts Fund. The videos are produced by Visit Buffalo Niagara in collaboration with John Paget of First + Main Media. Visit Buffalo Niagara sells and markets our assets and attractions to visitors outside of the Buffalo Niagara region as a convention, tourism and leisure destination for the economic benefit of the community.
