(2 Days)

DAY 1

If it's Saturday, begin your day at the Windmill Farm and Craft Market in Penn Yan on Rte 14A. With nearly 200 vendors featuring everything from produce to hand-crafted quilts, Mennonite-built outdoor furniture to clothing, miniatures to kettle corn, it's a great way to spend a day amid nature's fall displays.

Keuka Lake is surrounded by farms and vineyards and you should round out your afternoon with a stop on the Keuka Lake Wine Trail. Try Hunt Country Vineyards in Branchport followed by dinner at Silverbird Woodfired and Gastropub.

DAY 2

Spend your second day in the Finger Lakes viewing the outstanding foliage and sipping fine wine around Seneca Lake. Head east on Rte 54 and then south on Rte 14 down the west side of the lake - the views from the road are spectacular! You'll have the opportunity to experience the true Finger Lakes wine spectrum by sipping Rieslings, Cabernet Francs, Chardonnays, Merlots and more at Fox Run Vineyards & CafePrejean WineryTorrey Ridge WineryGlenora Wine Cellars, and Three Brothers Wineries and Estates - all part of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail

Continue south on Rte 14, and head down to the Seneca Harbor Station to have a meal in a charming restored train station originally built in 1876, or to take a cruise on the luxurious Seneca Legacy with Captain Bill. Afterward, stroll along the nearby streets or head directly to Watkins Glen State Park to experience the majestic beauty of cascades, waterfalls and gorgeous fall colors.
