I LOVE NEW YORK x MOHONK MOUNTAIN HOUSE TULIP FESTIVAL SWEEPSTAKES RULES

  1. The entrant hereby consents to the release and disclosure by the New York State Department of Economic Development (the “Department”) of any and all information provided in the entry form. Information collected in connection with this sweepstakes, including email addresses, may be used for the Department’s tourism-related mailings regarding vacationing in New York State and shall not be resold to third parties for any other use whatsoever.

  2. Employees and their immediate families of the New York State Department of Economic Development, and the New York State Urban Development Corporation d/b/a Empire State Development Corporation (“ESD”), and Mohonk Mountain House, are not eligible to enter such sweepstakes.  Immediate family shall be defined as spouse and children.  

  3. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. 

  4. Open to legal residents of the continental United States. 

  5. In order to obtain entry into the sweepstakes, Participants must navigate to a webpage at ILOVENY.com/Tulip-Festival-Sweepstakes, fill in the required contact information, and click submit. One (1) extra entry can be obtained by @tagging a friend in the social media post on Instagram and including their username in the sweepstakes entry form. 

  6. Sweepstakes prizes listed are subject to availability.

  7. Only one entry and one bonus entry per person for the duration of the promotion is permissible. Valid contest entries must contain all information requested. Incomplete entries will be disqualified. “Tagged” accounts may only enter the contest by adhering to requirements specified in paragraph 5 above.

  8. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to participate.

  9. Winning entrants will be randomly selected by drawing at a time and location to be determined by the Department. Odds of winning this sweepstakes will be determined based on overall number of entries. Entrant need not be present to win. The Department shall make two attempts to contact winning entrant. In the event that the winning entrant does not respond after a second attempt, the Department may select an alternate winner. All decisions of Department personnel regarding the picking of the winner shall be final.  Winner will be contacted by a representative from the Department by Instagram direct message from the @iloveny account.

  10. There will be 2 (two) winning entrants. Each winning entrant will receive 2 (two) Tulip Day Passes to attend the Tulip Festival at Mohonk Mountain House. The Tulip Day Pass is redeemable on the following dates: Monday, April 28 - Friday, May 2, or Sunday, May 4, or Monday, May 5 - Friday, May 9). Guests are welcome to spend the day (9am-5pm) on the grounds, and the pass includes access to the Mountain House, parking in the upper parking lots, daily garden tours, 4pm Floral Tea & Cookies, and a 20% discount at Greenhouse Retail, Gift Shop, Golf Shop Retail, and Spa/Fitness Retail. Each prize pack is valued at $70. Must redeem prize by Friday, May 9, 2025. 

  11. No changes or substitutions to the prize are allowed.  The Department may substitute components in prize packs for items of similar value based on availability at its discretion. All prizes are final. 

  12. The New York State Department of Economic Development or their agents are not responsible for late, lost, or misdirected entries or for miscommunications, misdirected transmissions, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic.

  13. This sweepstakes is void wherever restricted or prohibited by state or local laws.

  14. By entering, participants release and hold harmless the State of New York, Urban Development Corporation d/b/a Empire State Development Corporation and the Department of Economic Development, agencies employed by the Department, as well as any directors, officers or employees of these organizations from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the contest. 

  15. If for any reason the sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as planned, including any causes beyond the control of the administrators of the sweepstakes, the New York State Department of Economic Development reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, suspend or terminate the sweepstakes without notice to the entrants.

  16. Entry into the sweepstakes does not create any vested right or interest for the participants in the prizes offered for the sweepstakes.

  17. This giveaway is not sponsored in any way by Instagram or Meta. Neither Instagram nor Meta are responsible for the rules or promotions of this sweepstakes.
