In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026, the Geneva History Museum presents its first exhibit highlighting how the City and Town of Geneva have commemorated major civic milestones over time. Explore how the community has celebrated through parades, reenactments, pageants, and other gatherings—from anniversaries of the village and city to the nation’s 200th and now 250th birthday. The exhibit is part of Historic Geneva’s broader America 250 commemoration, which also includes programs and blog features throughout the year. Stop by to discover how Geneva has celebrated its history across generations.
