Holidays in New York

Carols, lights, celebrations, and cheer—New York's holiday season is here!

New York State is well-known for its end-of-the-year cheer with attractions like the world-famous Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree and holiday events at the North Pole in the Adirondacks. Across the state, you can find Charles Dickens festivals (in the Finger Lakes and on Long Island), rides on the Polar Express in the Catskills, winter villages (like the one at Chautauqua Institution), ice festivals, tree-lightings, and plenty of opportunities to meet the big man himself (and even some of his reindeer!).

Here during another season? The state celebrates holidays all year round, from St. Patrick's Day parades and pumpkin chunkin' to Fourth of July fireworks and the famous Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

Enjoy the season, whatever you're celebrating!
