Part of the Rails to Trails System, with over a 5 mile segment begining at Bliss Road, and gently descends the Lake Erie Escarpment, and running north to Prospect Road and then to Thayer Road, offering vistas of Lake Erie. Chautauqua Rails-to-Trails is preserving these abandoned rail corridors for conversion into safe off-road trails for recreational use: walking, running, hiking, bicycling, cross country skiing, bird watching (over 170 species identified) and horseback riding. Parking is available at Prospect Station and at Thayer Road.
