An official Path Through History Site! Allegany State Park is one of the greatest four-season recreational assets in Western New York. Built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, Allegany is the largest in the NYS Parks system. It features 5.6 miles of paved bikeways, ball fields, tennis courts, a swimming beach, picnic areas, and playgrounds. Trails include those for horseback riding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, hiking, and cross-country skiing. Non-motorized boats can be rented. Relax and take in the gorgeous fall foliage. Children's activities are held all summer.
