Americana Vineyards tasting room and gift shop was once a functioning swing barn in the 1820s, about five miles away from its current location. It was rescued from demolition, meticulously dismantled and rebuilt at its new address on East Covert Road. With a history like that, you can imagine the attention to detail that goes into the wine making! Such proud members of the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail!Famous chocolate labs, Max and Rubie, work as full time greeters. They can direct you to the tasting bars where you can sample a wide array of some of the Finger Lakes finest wines. Those with a sweet tooth love the incredible homemade fudge, and with over 20 varieties to choose from, there is something for everyone. There's also a wonderfully fresh menu of local fare at The Crystal Lake Café, which offers farm-house-style cooking with local ingredients. Chef Lindsay Freeman continues to wow both loyal regulars and newcomers alike with a rotating menu of fresh and filling meals made from the best the Finger Lakes has to offer.
