The Aspinwall Motel is conveniently located at the entrance to Henderson Harbor at the Eastern Shore of Lake Ontario. Less than six miles from three NYS Parks (Westcott Beach, South Wicks Beach, Robert Wehle State Park) convenient for swimming, hiking, family reunions or just a relaxing day in the sun. If you are visiting to fish with your own boat or take a Charter Trip, the area is renowned for trophy fishing for trout, salmon, and bass throughout the season. The Motel is located on the Historic Aspinwall Homestead settled in the early 1800s. The home was once used as a blacksmith shop, farm, and lodging for travelers prior to the Motel facility being built in 1988. It was a stop on the Underground Railroad and visited by Stonewall Jackson while being treated by local physicians. The registration desk is located in historic Aspinwall House so all visitors can experience a little bit of history.
