Bear Spring Mountain Wildlife Management Area (WMA) consists of over 7,000 acres of upland habitat that affords such recreational opportunities as hunting, trapping, angling, hiking, horseback riding and snowmobiling. Wildlife for hunting and trapping include white-tailed deer, black bear, wild turkey, ruffed grouse, gray squirrel, fisher, and bobcat. For fishing, Launt Pond is stocked with trout. Russ Grey Pond has largemouth bass, sunfish and bullheads. And the two streams contain brook and brown trout.
