The mountain features the highest vertical rise between the Adirondacks and the Rocky Mountains at 1,200 feet, making it one of the most exciting winter sports destinations in New York State.

Spanning 138 acres of skiable terrain, Bristol Mountain offers 34 trails designed for all skill levels. Beginners can ease into the sport on gentle slopes, while seasoned skiers and riders can challenge themselves on steeper terrain.

Terrain Breakdown

  • 32% novice runs for beginners
  • 50% intermediate runs for confident skiers
  • 18% advanced terrain for experienced riders

Two terrain parks add extra excitement for freestyle skiers and snowboarders, while Nordic loops offer additional cross-country style experiences around the mountain.

Getting around the resort is quick and convenient thanks to two high-speed quad lifts, and the fun doesn’t stop when the sun sets. With 96% of the trails illuminated for night skiing, visitors can extend their time on the slopes well into the evening.

Bristol Mountain also uses a state-of-the-art snowmaking system covering 97% of the terrain, ensuring reliable conditions throughout the season.

For those new to the sport, or looking to sharpen their skills, the resort offers lessons for all ages and ability levels in both skiing and snowboarding. Visitors can also take advantage of equipment rentals, a full snowsports retail shop, and an on-site tuning center.

After a day on the slopes, there are several great spots on the mountain to relax and refuel.
