Bristol Mountain sits on a base elevation of 1,000 feet and rises to a 2,200-foot elevation at the mountain summit. The 1200' vertical rise is the highest vertical between the Adirondacks and the Rocky Mountains. There are 138 acres of total skiable terrain. Views from the summit and the 34 slopes and trails are breathtaking and provide a variety of inclines for every skier and snowboarder from beginner to expert. There are also two terrain parks, two Nordic loops (providing 3 km of exciting Nordic fun, operating early December through early March), and two high-speed quad lifts. During the night operating season, 96% of trails have lighting. The state-of-the-art snowmaking system covers 97% of the terrain. Services include rental equipment, a full snowsports retail store, and equipment tuning center. Lessons are available for ski or snowboard, all age and experience levels. Food and beverage options include Carver's Kitchen, the Satellite Lounge (over 21), the Summit Grille, and the Morning Star Cafe, the slopeside waffle house.
