Terrell McLean is the founder & pitmaster of Bubby's BBQ. Barbecue has always been a huge part of Terrell’s life. As a child, he and his family would travel to his mother’s birthplace of Hemingway, South Carolina. There, the family would enjoy whole hog barbecue and rocky road soda from their family’s barbecue establishment.
Bubby's BBQ smokes their meats low and slow, Texas style on a 500 gallon smoker. Meats include, brisket, pork, ribs, half chicken, wings, and Cajun sausage. Side dishes are mac n cheese, collard greens with smoked turkey, brisket beans, mac salad, and honey butter cornbread.
