Details

Welcome to the Canandaigua City Pier, where history, lake life, and small-town charm converge at the edge of the water. Often described as the spot where main street meets the lake, the City Pier offers a beautifully nostalgic slice of Canandaigua, where every visit feels like a step into a timeless lakeside postcard.

For over 150 years, the City Pier has been serving boaters, fisherman, and sightseers alike. Its most iconic feature? A row of nearly eighty historic boathouses, each perched above the water on three fingers off the pier's west side. Weathered, colorful, and full of character, these charming boathouses have stood the test of time—once nearly lost, now protected and treasured for their beauty and heritage.
