Named after New York City's Central Park, Schenectady's Central Park is the crown jewel of the county's parks. The park features the Rose Garden, Music Haven outdoor amphitheater, public pool for City of Schenectady residents, Iroquois Lake, tennis courts, a dog park, a disc golf course, Appleby's Tiny Tot Land, and playgrounds. The park is open year round, however, concerts take place in the summer and the pool is open from July 1 to August 19.
