Country elegance and hospitality. The Charlton Farm features six diverse guest rooms all ranging in designs. These rooms stay true to their turn-of-the-century roots with antique furniture and decor, while still maintaining modernity through soft calming color tones. Additionally, all bathrooms are fully updated for your convenience. Rooms feature large windows overlooking the lush grounds. A great setting for garden weddings or bridal showers. The Charlton Farm sits on 30 acres of pristine land in the town of Avon near the Finger Lakes, an area well known for its wineries and craft breweries. The historic Charlton Farm was built in 1894 for Emmett Jennings and Emma Durand by J. Foster Warner, the very same architect who built the George Eastman House. Emmett Jennings was a stagecoach manufacturer who started the stagecoach route from Avon to Rochester. Parties hosted by the Jennings included well known people such as George Eastman.
