Country elegance and hospitality. Four bedrooms, climate controlled, F/P access. A great setting for garden weddings or bridal showers. The Charlton Farm sits on 30 acres of pristine land in the town of Avon near the Finger Lakes, an area well known for its wineries and craft breweries. The historic Charlton Farm was built in 1894 for Emmett Jennings and Emma Durand by J. Foster Warner, the very same architect who built the George Eastman House. Emmett Jennings was a stagecoach manufacturer who started the stagecoach route from Avon to Rochester. Parties hosted by the Jennings included well known people such as George Eastman.
