Christopher Morley Park Golf Course is the shortest and hilliest of Nassau County’s four municipal nine-hole layouts. Built on the grounds of an old Roslyn estate, Morley Park offers tree-lined fairways, shaded greens and an overall serene vibe. The course measures a diminutive 1,600 yards, though the trees and hills bolster the difficulty a bit and call for accuracy on all shots. These features also create several blind shots, a unique challenge for such a short course. Shots that go astray will be blocked or lost in the trees. Still, the course is well-suited for beginner play and fast rounds due to its length. There is no driving range, and the golf course is closed during the winter months.
