An official Path Through History Site! The Concord Historical Campus includes 5 main buildings plus several smaller outbuildings. The mission of the Historical Society is to preserve and promote the history and accomplishments of local residents who are internationally known for their achievements. Glenn "Pop" Warner famous College Football Coach, Harold Olmstead landscape painter, and architect of the Albrich/Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, George Schuster, Driver and winner of the 1908 NY to Paris Automobile Race, Dr. Ralph B. Waite, developer of modern painless dentistry Novocain, Jack Yellen songwriter of over 700 songs for MGM and Broadway including Happy Days are Here Again, Ain't She Sweet, Alabama Juliblee and many more... Guided tours are conducted annually for 200 students from area schools, First-person live presentations by relatives of local notables. I-phone and audio tours of buildings and exhibits, host luncheons, tours and gatherings for car clubs, other historical societies, scout groups, and others. Provide computer access for Genealogy and Historical research.
