Coopers' Cave Overlook

Cooper’s Cave is the site of the fictional hiding place made famous in James Fenimore Cooper’s novel The Last of the Mohicans. Nestled under the Cooper’s Cave Bridge, which connects the Village of South Glens Falls and the City of Glens Falls, a viewing platform with interpretive information has been constructed for visitors to view the site and learn about James Fenimore Cooper and the Mohican Tribe’s legacy in this region.
