Courthouse Square Historic District

The National Register of Historic Places has recognized the County Courthouse built in 1857 in the Greek Revival Style. The dome surmounted with a cupola serves as a landmark for miles around. Other notable buildings around the square are packed with historical significance. They include churches and homes built in different styles during the 1800s.
