Welcome to El Paso Winery. The 100 year old barn, now our tasting room, is located directly on Route 9W in the beautiful Hudson Valley. Driving north on the western side of the Hudson River, we're only about 90 minutes from Manhattan. El Paso is a "farm winery" and we are required to use 100% New York grapes to produce our very special wines like our award-winning Merlot. Both Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc are some of the favorites but Black Bear is the all-time best selling red. We also produce dry whites, semi-dry and sweet wines. Our hours of operation are: 11am - 6pm, Wednesday - Sunday, and April - December. Our tastes are always FREE, and our little gift shop is filled with items produced by local artists and crafters. The cupboard holds homemade salsas, biscuits, crackers, local honey and maple syrup and there's always cheeses in the frig. Also and only when Mother Nature allows, we celebrate Fridays on the deck with "Wine, Cheese and a Sunset". Call for details.
