The St. Lawrence Power & Equipment Museum preserves and teaches the history of how people of the North Country of New York lived and how earlier technologies and events helped shape their lives. History comes alive through demonstrations, interpretive displays, living history and collections among historical and exhibit buildings, some which include a one-room 1800’s schoolhouse and log cabin, carriage barn, heritage fibers building, Civil War-era Fort, general store, shoe shop, shingle mill, blacksmith shop, farmhouse, and more.
