The Great Swamp Conservancy (GSC) is the only nature center in Madison County that has approximately 7 miles of trails through valuable bird habitat and has been given the distinction of Important Bird Area (IBA) by the National Audubon Society. The GSC also is the hub for watchable wildlife in Madison County. These qualities afford many opportunities for children and adults in the field of environmental education and recreation.
Winter is a unique time to enjoy the 7 miles of trails through the GSC! Bring your own Snowshoes or Cross Country Skis or rent the equipment on-site and hit the trails!
