An official Path Through History Site! Heritage Square is a Historic Crossroads Community and a National Register Historic District. This Crossroads Community has nine museum buildings set on 13 rural acres illustrating many aspects of mid 19th Century life in Wayne County. Each museum building is filled with period artifacts. A Train Station (Hojack Line), Apple Dry House, 1838 Warner House, Country School House, Ore Miner`s home, Log Cabin, Town Jail, Baptist Meeting House, Exhibit Barn, and also New York State`s oldest (certified) heritage Sugar Maple Tree.
