Where Family Traditions Take Root
Tucked away on 64 peaceful acres just five minutes from Eastview Mall, Holmes Hollow Farm is a beloved, family-run Christmas tree farm that’s been part of Victor’s landscape for nearly 50 years. Originally a dairy farm, Holmes Hollow was founded in 1959 by Robert and Ellen Holmes and has remained a treasured local tradition for generations. Today, the farm continues to thrive under their granddaughter Josephine Fowler and her husband Matthew, who carry forward the family’s legacy of community, stewardship, and simple seasonal joy.
Visitors will find more than just trees here—it’s a place where the hustle of the holidays melts away. The natural sound barrier of trees and rolling hills creates a serene escape, allowing you to stroll through fields of evergreens, crunching snow underfoot as you select the perfect Christmas tree for your home. Whether you’re drawn to a towering 20-foot Canaan fir or a soft, blue-tinted Concolor, the Holmes family is always ready to lend a hand with cutting, bailing, or loading your tree.
Beyond its beautiful trees, Holmes Hollow has deep roots in community life. The scenic Crescent Trail winds through the property, and every year, the farm hosts the Genesee Valley Harriers “Mudslog”—a local favorite that celebrates the connection between people and land. Holmes Hollow isn’t just a place to find your tree—it’s a place to find tradition.
