Hopewell Depot Museum

An official Path Through History Site! The Hopewell Depot train station was built in 1873 and served witness to the rise and fall of Hopewell Junction as a major railroad hub of Dutchess County. The restored 1873 railroad station offers tours, a visitors center with area tourism brochures. Dedicated to preserving the history of the railroad in Southern Dutchess County, the Depot is located at start/end of Dutchess County Rail Trail. OPEN: May thru October Saturday & Sunday 12pm-4pm; November - March Saturday only 12pm-4pm; last tour at 3:30pm. Group tours by appt. Call 845-226-7003 and leave a message.
