Katonah Museum of Art

Details

An official Path Through History Site! The Katonah Museum of Art presents exhibitions that explore ideas about art, culture, and society - past and present - through innovative exhibition and education programs. The KMA originates three to four exhibitions annually, covering a broad range of art and humanities topics. From the beginning, the KMA was committed to presenting exceptional art from all cultures and time periods. The founders’ decision to be a non-collecting institution resulted in a dynamic and flexible exhibition program, which remains one of the most distinctive features of the KMA. The KMA offers lectures, films, workshops, concerts and other events for a general audience; and presents innovative and substantive programs for over 100 member schools. Children can explore and create art in the interactive Learning Center. The KMA works intensively with schools and service organizations on a variety of community-based education programs. Admission: $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and students, free for children under 12. Open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 5 p.m. Closed Mondays and the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
