Marc A.F. Baker Island Preserve

Details

A remarkable property located on Grass Lake with more than 2.5 miles of undeveloped shoreline. Just a short paddle from the Grass Lake boat launch, the preserve is reachable only by water. The trail begins and ends at the dock located on the north end of the island. This easy hike affords multiple views of the western end of Grass Lake and surrounding wetlands. Hikers often see osprey, common loons, and great blue herons. Maintained by the Indian River Lakes Conservancy.
