Details

Located at the base of the "Grand Canyon of the East", the largest concrete dam East of the Mississippi provides flood protection to the Genesee Valley and Rochester. Go inside the dam on a fascinating and free guided walking tour. View exhibits and marvel at the scenic vistas. Visitor Center and tours are offered from May through late October. The US Army Corps of Engineers offers online advanced reservations for ranger-guided walking tours of Mount Morris Dam. Reserve tour tickets up to 7 days in advance at www.Recreation.gov or by calling 877-444-6777. Space is limited and reservations are strongly recommended.
