Museum in the Streets

Details

An official Path Through History Site! Museum in the Streets is a free self-guided history walking tour of the Village of Hastings on Hudson, with descriptive signage at each of 29 sites of historic interest.  Each sign has archival photographs and brief descriptions in English and Spanish.  Sites include astronomer Henry Draper's observatories; the industrial waterfront; the Revolutionary War era Forge Cottage; plus information on past businesses, local churches and historic homes.  A large sign with an orientation map of the walk is located adjacent to the restaurant at 540 Warburton Ave. in the downtown core.
