New York State Fish Hatchery

CLOSED TEMPORARILY. Cattaraugus County has some of the finest freshwater fishing in the country. This is a major brood stock facility which annually handles five-six million brook, brown and rainbow trout eggs. Annual production totals almost 100,000 pounds of fish. You can see and feed these fish before spring stocking begins in March when these fish are distributed to over 60 sites throughout Cattaraugus County.
