At the Whirlpool area of Niagara Falls State Park, you can walk, run, or bike the multi-use recreational trail. For spectacular views of the Whirlpool and rapids, hike along the Niagara Gorge Rim Trail. Stairs descend to the Whirlpool Rapids Trail along the river's raging edge. The area also offers shelters, picnicking, and fishing.
