North American Cultural Laboratory

North American Cultural Laboratory (NACL) is a year-round residency center and research facility for performing artists engaged in experimentation and the development of new works. We invite the participation of a diverse body of practitioners in theatre, dance, music, and various hybrid forms of performance. Public presentations in our century-old, gothic revival church feature performance works at varying stages of development, offering windows into the creative process not normally witnessed outside the rehearsal room. These unique events typically culminate in an exchange of impressions and insights with the artists over a shared meal of simple, locally-sourced food. See our calendar listings at NACL.ORG.
