NYS DEC Tivoli Bays Wildlife Management Area

Details

A choice destination for anyone wishing to explore the coves and tidal marshes of the Hudson River estuary, this 1,722-acre area is teeming with wildlife. A variety of waterfowl can be hunted in the marshes and white-tailed deer, wild turkey, and pheasants in the uplands. Muskrat and beaver lurk in the wetlands. Designated a Bird Conservation Area, excellent birding opportunities include common moorhen, sora, Virginia rail, and marsh wren. Bring your kayak.
