This facility, featuring a performance venue with state-of-the-art technology and broadcast capabilities, has served the finest artists and speakers from around the world. Since opening in 2003, this NYU-owned performance space has been a home for dance, theater and live music in the West Village. In the Skirball’s 860-seat theater—with top-of-the-line sound and lighting design, and excellent sight lines from almost every seat—theatergoers can take in fare as varied as a student production of the musical Fiorello!, a performance by comedian Rob Delaney or a screening of the National Theatre’s The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.
